Get Involved. Make Your Mark.
Kapil comes from a community of snake charmers. In recent years, the government has prohibited snake charming, so the tribe has taken up burglary and begging to survive, which unfortunately is the only ambition in their lives. Children in Kapil’s tribe are married to each other by the time they reach teenage age. They then resolve to means of sustaining their families like the men in the community. Unlike his tribe people, Kapil has the ambition to learn and pursue education. He is the only person in his community able to read and write. According to his teachers, Kapil is brilliant and hard-working.
Kapil is one of the students sponsored by the foundation.
